Paolo Cavara - L'occhio selvaggio AKA The Wild Eye [Uncut] (1967)







Philipe Leroy is Paolo, a Mondo-style filmaker who seems to stop at nothing to capture the images of real inhumanity on film even if it means lying and manipulating people to get the shot. This film was no doubt inspired by director Cavara's real life exploits with Gualtiero Jacopetti whom he co-directed "Mondo Cane" and a few other similar documentaries with.
